Canopy Care, Safety + Tips
To ensure the longevity of your canopy we recommend you follow these guidelines.
Washing care:
Please always remove the steel ring from your canopies fabric prior to washing. Wash on a cold wash at 30 degrees or below. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.
For the removal of creasing in the fabric we recommend using a garment steamer.
Safety:
Please ensure your ceiling hook is fixed securely before hanging your canopy. Our adhesive tape option is for temporary placement only, use wall plugs and screws for prolonged placement ensuring the securest hold.
If our canopies are to be hung above cots, cribs + beds please tuck any draping fabric away (behind the headboard/bed frame) ensuring the fabric is not laid on/pulled on. Please do not pull on your canopies fabric as this can cause tension at the top string/ties which may result in your canopy tearing at its fabric and/or seams. As our canopies are made from 100% cotton the fabric will not stretch with tension.
Our canopies are for decoration purposes only. Please report any fabric discrepancies or seam faults within 14 days of receiving your order. Any faults of this nature reported after the given timeframe will be deemed as misuse and will not be replaced/refunded.
Hanging your canopy:

Carefully open your steel ring into one long piece. Thread the steel (using the clasp end of the hoop) through the hole in the fabric along the underside of the canopies hood. Curve the steel hoop as you thread to ensure the fabric is not damaged. Fasten the end together to create a secure hoop.

Place the hook into the ceiling mount and twist to lock the hook into place prior to mounting to your ceiling.

To secure the mounted hook onto your ceiling we offer 2 options, screws and double sided tissue tape. Always ensure the hook is well mounted before hanging the canopy. (Please note the adhesive tape option is for temporary placement only)

Make a knot at your desired height on the cotton string and hang on your mounted ceiling hook.

Please note we highly recommend you follow our safety and care guidelines. If our canopies are not cared for as per our guidelines and recommendations and the canopy becomes damaged because of this, we will not offer and replacement or refund.
